I know what you're saying. Still, if they do experience a signidicant price-drop it's gona be hard to say no!
With regards how I find the 1's and 2's, well, I actually sold on my 1's unopened (so untried) to a family member for a Christmas present for another family member (we're talking extended family here, not immdeiate). So, I will be able to try them at some point. The custom 2's I just recieved this morning and havn't opened yet. I won't be opening them for a little while et either, as I have enough to digest and get a feel for, sonically, in 6 DAPs I've currently got i my possession on an opened-box returns policy from Advancedmp3players.co.uk. As you can understabnd, in wanting to become familiar with their respective sound signatures etc before making a descision on what I buy as my new DAP, I want to keep as many constants in place as possible and so probably will avoid listening to the 2's til I've completed that little project, as it were. I've also just recieved back, over the last few days, my SA6 and SE530's that gone on RMA's. So much audio gear to try it's almost a burden!
Also, though still costly, the image X10's have been reduced to aprrox 175 GBP.
