ID3 tags on sony s639f..

i can't figure out the 4th one on the NOW PLAYING screen is... i thought it was YEAR but i i put in year already in the id3 tags of my songs and the 4th box still says unknown on my mp3 player...

It is the year. How are you transferring songs over?

I use MediaMonkey and it works for me if you want to try that (Haven't seen the Sony Manager software, but I'm fairly sure MediaMonkey is better).

Sony's Media Manager is horrible, get MM, or use J.River. WMP11 is even better, just not the Sony prog.

I only use it to drag my songs, everything else is done with progs like Tag&Rename + MP3tag...
