Gallo speakers

Todd, I see you represent gallo speakers. What do you think of the ref. 3.1?

What amp would you recommend to go with it? Budget around 4000 (for the amp).

Hi,

The Gallo 3.1 speakers are what I use in my home system with Arcam gear. It is primarily a surround system but I also use it for music. They sound fantastic. They are dynamic and detailed without any harshness. They image very well and have a large soundstage. They also are very cool looking...

As for an amp, I have used them with many and found the Arcam integrated and power amps to work well as well as the integrated 20 watt Luxman ($4500 list) L 550A II. Manley Snappers also work well (tube monoblocks). For a while I also used them with the Meridian G57 ( the G56 would also work) and had very good results.

It will depend on whether you were asking about integrated or power amps. You can also call me and we can talk about it.
