well if you're talking about budget for dac+amp+speakers or dac+active speakers, i guess my total budget would be about 1.4k. I might stretch it depending on how much I can get for my Predator + TF10

Those look great! but would they perform well in a tabletop setup?
I Think the ADM9.1 may be out of your budget, Not sure how close you would be after selling your gear!

There is a dealer in Singapore (Welcome to Sound Decisions Pte Ltd). So you could maybe get a demo.

On the AVI website in one of the first photo's they show them on a desk top either side of a Mac, So i guess they would work fine. (But it is a promo photo)

I use mine on 900mm stands 6feet apart either side of my PC desk they sound great in the near field & also when i'm sat on the sofa about 12feet away. Not ideally set up for either listening position ( A compromise for both) but sound great in both!

If they do prove to out of your budget or not what you are looking for, I would probably look at the source Dac first. AudiophileChina have some nice gear & are closer to you re.postage.

Anyway good luck m8

okay getting the Ori for 250USD. I now have about 1.1k to play with for amp+speakers or active monitors.

John Blue JB3 ($350)

Even if you don’t end up with these, it’s nice to know they exist.:

6moons audio reviews: JohnBlue Audio Art JB3

You can get them here with a 30 day audition, however, they won’t have stock until next week.
