Anyone experienced with Moon Audio cables?

I read the full descriptions of all three of the silver, blue, and black dragon cables and am having difficulty truly understanding the differences between them. I wish I had the availability to test them out myself, and I might get that chance when I go home to NC this christmas season.

MA boasts clear highs and mids on the silver dragon, good bass and voicing on the other two.

Is there anything else that can be added? MA suggests which types of music fit each one, but I don't understand the recommendations.

The Silver Dragon is a very nice cable, one that many here have purchased and enjoyed. I like silver interconnects due to better highs (IMO). However others have been very happy w/ the Blue Dragon or the ...

Blue Dragon I/C for my pc to amp here. Very noticeable improvement with the addition. Good quality stuff. I think they have a sale on their sponsored forum here. That is where I got mine.

Is there still a point in having a good cable like that if the interconnect between my computer and the amp is a normal one? It seems like the quality lost there might not ever be regained by the dragon cable leading to the phones.

How are you using your computer? What kind of amp do you have? What kind of headphones?

see my sig. Sound is very damn good. I do not have my Zhalou yet. Using the Blue Dragon mini to rca into my pop pulse with 10-gauge Tributaries Series 9 power cable lol. The power cable weighs as much as the amp!

I have a Creative X-fi and am probably going to get a Little dot of some sort soon. I have HD 580's and SR-80's.

I just can't help but to think that I would need to either get BOTH interconnect between PC and AMP AND Headphone cable, or neither. If I incur losses from the source to the amp, how could I expect the cable from the amp to phones to add to a crappy signal?

Hop off at the nearest exit. You need to spend money on a dac or better source in general long before you spend money on boutique cables. Case in point-

This will improve the sound you get out of the amp you have coming by about 90 percent. How much is the Silver dragon cable? It will get you maybe a 20 percent improvement in headphone sound but only after you have a better source and a better interconnect. Buy a dac next after the amp and then a nice interconnect and then worry about headphone cables. Even then a 250 dollar dac and 3 or 4 hundred dollar amp may not merit a silver dragon and at that point I would think about new headphones.

Yeah, always spend the $$ on hardware first, cable last. I spent $75 on my mini to rca Blue Dragon b/c I was using a cheap radio snack i/c that sounded like the music was under a blanket lol.

I spent my $$ on the best Stax, dac and amp that I could afford. My power cables were only $40 each which is cheap.

Where did you buy the Tributaries 9 power cable? Do they make them in 5-6ft?
