Sleek SA6's new bass+ port

IMHO, out of the box the bass response of the new bass+ port is utter turd. Boomy and weak, it is certainly inferior to the old bass+ port. But after removing away that filter (along with that yellow tube) the bass response is actually shockingly good. It sounds like a louder version of the ER4p's bass: punchy and strong without taking anything away from the mids and highs. Can someone actually confirm that my finding is correct?

how do you remove it? just use tweezer and remove the whole yellow part?

I got a pin and removed the entire yellow tube. No melting the hole to make it bigger etc.

ok i did it. my findings is that just like the pinhole mod with the old bass + port, there is still the same amount of thump in the bass, however the music isnt as dark as before.
