Only things really holding me back is the slight (at this point) concern they might be a little too bassy and the durability/microphonics issue... Ordering soon!
If you are worried about too much bass, consider the X5: good SQ from lows to highs and comfy to boot.
At the sale price, they can't be beat. After considering the X10s, I realized the X5s have what I want; I just ordered a second pair.

Having had my X10s for a week now, I can offer a few thoughts from personal experience.

The X10s are not overly bassy. They have good, strong, well-represented bass. This bass does not cut into the rest of the frequencies.

The mids are somewhat recessed, and the highs are somewhat forward, but it isn't horrible and doesn't detract from the experience.

The microphonics is only noticeable if you mess around with the actual connection points, either from your source or right next to your ears. If you only jiggle the cord, you won't hear a thing.

As far as durability, from what I can tell the X10s will be fine for durability so long as I don't yank them out of my ears by the cord, or the same from my DAP.

The bass was a bit overwhelming at first, but seeing as the only other IEM I had were the UE 3's, it kind of makes sense.

I haven't had much trouble with microphonics, and I found that the large dual-flange tips fit fine for me. I wore them for hours yesterday, I honestly forgot they were there until I took them out.

How about a review amped vs unamped?

Which has the better mids: X5 or X10?

According to what I've read, the X5's have better mids, whereas the X10s have better bass.

I don't have an amp so I can't go over that, but I've read that amping the X10s doesn't do very much to them.
