It works as long as it is done correctly. You should be seeing the cashback logo throughout the entire eBay transaction. If you do not, then something is wrong.

I have now gotten two cashbacks successfully into my PayPal account from Microsoft for two eBay purchases.

I got one of those "You are eligible for MS Cashback" messages in my ebay account, after the purchase. I clicked Get Cashback, and signed into my account. But there are all zeros, nothing pending, etc. Does it take a couple of days to show up as pending? There is a process to use, which requires sending some information (receipt, email, etc.). Guess I will sit tight and wait to see if and when it shows up in my cashback account. Didn't mean to hijack the thread.

I linked through the message sent to eBay as well and I do not see the amount posted yet. On the live.com site is says that it can take up to 2 days to post there.

Didn't know about the additional 10%...damn.

I wonder if this code can be applied with everyone or only ones that received the discount email from eBay?
Actually I got some discount codes in the past, but when I entered and checked out in eBay, it told that the code wasn't applied to my Paypal. My ebay and Paypal emails are the same.

Not sure. All u can do is try it. The Paypal charge was for $399 (full amount), and then rebated from the vendor after the fact, so you may be right.

Did you get the instant 25% cashback? I heard that Microsoft has just released new promotion that you can get the 25% back instantly deposited to your PP. I have 500$ or something like that on pending

Have no idea. Will wait 48 hours and then check. If not cashback pending, will contact MS. I should be getting it, cause the logo is on my ebay receipt, and I clicked Get Cashback and went through the process.
