I bought this unit directly from Alex Peychev (APL HIFI) who is an authorized Esoteric Dealer for the purpose of having him mod it. However he simply had too much on his plate and never got to it so I took the player in order to sell to recoop the money I put into the project.
It was a brand new unit (Not B-stock/or refurbished) that he got from Esoteric directly and he says that full warranty will be conferred on whoever buys it from me. The only reason I am say it is only "essentially" brand new is because he did open it from the packaging, listen to it and opened it up to look inside (No mods) before vanishing to Bulgaria to work on his DAC. It is assuredly in true 10/10 audiogon condition too.
I am looking for 3300 + fees.
This is packaged in the same packaging as used by Esoteric to ship with. And I'll be able to ship from my company (Since this time the book fits in my car) within the US at a 50 percent discount with Fedex.
