Ruthenium - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Ruthenium plays no biological role but does strongly stain human skin, may be carcinogenic[47] and bio-accumulates in bone

I already said this before, but unless you touch the ruthenium cups for 12 hours a day like jewelry or wear as much lotion as my mom you shouldn't worry about the ruthenium plating going into your skin.
ooo that is a cause of concern..

How so you don“t think the ear cups will protect you?. The warning is as mentioned probably more for piercings and such

You don't have to lick them all day.

Raw material as well like the powdered metal..don't handle it with bare hands or inject it through the mouth or nose. This element fixed is not going to be an issue for anyone unless it is psychologically which may be the case with a few people.

Doesn't sound too healthy...

You guys are making a mountain out of the samllest molehill with this Ruthenium issue.

Google "Ruthenium plating" and you will fine that it has been used for years as a plating for woman's jewelry and for many other uses as well.. Every one of you very well make already have some or know someone with some and not know it. The initial PR on the Edition 9 also referred to Ruthenium but later this was changed to chrome. This too can be Googled.

Not a chance. The midrange is the Achilles heel of Ultrasone.

Wha...? That's it, I am canceling my pre-order! What good are they, if you can't lick them all day?

Now I know which memeber's headphones to avoid on the 2nd hand market......

Hmm, ED8 VS Pro 900 comparison would be awesome.
