I'm from KL actually but currently traveling for work here and there.. I will be back to KL end of the week.. If you are in KL this sat i would love to listen to the Ed8s...
It makes me wonder how is it feels like another level up.. I saw your post in lowyat saying you are able to get ultrasone for a cheap price ?
Actually i need some help. I bought J$ leather pad for my pro900 but i don't know how do it replace it to the ear cup. Anyone can be at help ?
The logo etched on the Ed8s are laser made, I doubt they'll fade at all.
I'm holed up in Kota Kemuning, somewhere near Subang. I'll be here for another few years :)
Levelling up is boring, I've got with me right now a handful of sub 200 (700 ringgit) dollar IEMs for my personal review, these are more fun!! lol.
Ed8s are great, I'm not complaining. I yearn for the SigPros but the ed8s are fine. You may or may not get hit by their quality upon first listen, but every now and then the planets align and suddenly I smile at the music I'm listening to.
I'm not sure about the Pro900s Ive not owned them. AFAIK, most Ultrasone's pads are ##$%@#%$ glued on, you just have to yank the old one out as hard as you can. Clear off the remnants of glue on the frame/baffle and then slowly and carefully epoxy the J$ stuff on.
Pressured? Yeah.. they'll cause more pressure than applying a screen protector on an iPhone thats for sure!!
