Actually i need some help. I bought J$ leather pad for my pro900 but i don't know how do it replace it to the ear cup. Anyone can be at help ?

The logo etched on the Ed8s are laser made, I doubt they'll fade at all.

I'm holed up in Kota Kemuning, somewhere near Subang. I'll be here for another few years :)

Levelling up is boring, I've got with me right now a handful of sub 200 (700 ringgit) dollar IEMs for my personal review, these are more fun!! lol.

Ed8s are great, I'm not complaining. I yearn for the SigPros but the ed8s are fine. You may or may not get hit by their quality upon first listen, but every now and then the planets align and suddenly I smile at the music I'm listening to.

I'm not sure about the Pro900s Ive not owned them. AFAIK, most Ultrasone's pads are ##$%@#%$ glued on, you just have to yank the old one out as hard as you can. Clear off the remnants of glue on the frame/baffle and then slowly and carefully epoxy the J$ stuff on.

Pressured?  Yeah..  they'll cause more pressure than applying a screen protector on an iPhone thats for sure!!

tried these in harrods a while back, they sound very good direcly out of my iphone, could sound beter with decent amping.

If anyone wanna let go his edition 8 is perfectly working condition i'm up to consider buying in used as it will be

edition 8 are just the evolution of the ultrasone pro 900 ^^ , sure. its far better, :D

I thought that the Sig Pro was an evolution of the Pro900s.  The Editions are a completely different animal from the Proline from my understanding.

I understand from reviews that Sig Pro is slightly better performance that Ed8 but the cutting edge design of the Ed8 which is the catchy part. Shinny and exclusive feel of the Ed8 keeps on catching my attention lolz..

I've got some Ed8's, and will get the Sig Pros to try soon. I'm just having a brief side-trip to get the ATH-W3000ANV's at the moment, since they won't be around forever, then I'll me some Sig Pro's.

Yeah, i would take those reviews with a grain of salt.  The Sig Pro is newer so hype plays in.  Haven't heard it but if i were to get another close(i already have ed8, W3000anv and DX1000) it would be the Fostex TH900 without a doubt.  I do like the performance of the ed8's quite a bit and between that and the convenience of the design for wearing in high chairs and sitting back make them a total keeper for good as far as i'm concerned.  I really don't care about the looks really.

I don't mean to be disrespectful but that's a bit harsh to be skeptical of SigPro reviews just because it's newer than the Ed8's and you've not heard the SigPros yourself? The SigPros have been out for some time and there's extensive reviews of it (some positive, some negative) of which readers can form their own conclusions themselves? Of course the more reviews they read the clear the picture forms.

Purely in terms of SQ, I don't disagree with you on the recommended models. I sold my 9 mth old Ed8LEs, walking into a shop with the intent of buying the SigPros but ended up walking out with the TH-900's instead. But that's 1/2 the story. I happened to get a decent price for the TH-900's and in the end I prioritised SQ over isolation. The TH-900's in my preference of SQ signatures, are the best closed headphones. Unfortunately they also isolate terribly. So for a private room/home use that's fine but works poorly outdoors/outside. At least for now, in my personal preference, the best overall closed headphones (balancing SQ and isolation), would be the SigPros - at least until I've given the Sennheiser Momentum and V-Moda M-100 a listen.

Size-wise though, I do agree the Ed8's are more portable and less bulky than the SigPros.

I feel the love for Fostex TH900 as they are some awesome cans but its a little larger therefore not that portable. I would love to have 1 Ed8 and 1 TH900 if i have the bullets for it. 

I'm sliding more towards the Ed8 rather than Sig Pro is due to the design and looks. Anyone wanna let go his Ed8 ? Would like to grab them and give em a try :)

I think the Sig Pro looks pretty awesome in person. And a little advice, if you do plan on taking your headphones out of the house and use them on the go in any way, most people find, including me, the Edition 8 is just too nice once you get them. Most get them and baby them. Sig Pro is great on the go.

I haven't see the actual Sig Pro myself and try it on so i haven't feel it yet. My actual plan is to use Ed8 on the go sometimes but if its just too nice hmmm...

Sig Pro does look better on the go due to its tough design but its kinda same size as my current pro900. I find Ed8 kinda flashy and sure will attract lots of attention lols..

The Pro 900 is pretty big. I think the Sig Pro falls in between the Ed8 and and Pro 900. And yes, the Ed8 is quite flashy. I like the subtle elegance of the SP. Matte black plus glass? Nothing looks quite like it still. They are pretty sharp.

Edit: Also keep in mind the Ed8 don't fold flat like the SP.
