Hey,
Hehehehe windschoten is totally at the opposite side of nl if I got my geography right (which is always dubious). I am a relative newb to head-fi/hi-fi myself I only really started this hobby in june.
Greetings, Anouk,

Greetings, Anouk,
Whatever gave you that idea?
Dozens of dutch headfiers have been around here for several years and there have been a few very well attended dutch meetings to prove they are very much alive.

Hello, Well, I have not actively delved into the archives of head-fi but I suppose you are right, I did get rather a few private messages though from dutch head-fiers who stated that they were no longer interested in head0fi, but then I pmed a lot o fpeople so maybe this is to be expected...

I'll probably join you as well, if you are so polite to speak English to a poor international student like me (living in Utrecht right now).

You are absolutely right! I even dare say that compared to the number of in inhabitants NL Head-Fi is very, very much alive!

I'll attend if I can find me some time

Hello, Well, at least nl has its own head-fi store, thats something. I am not sure how other countries fare in this regard but I bet its not common. Though I read somewhere that malaysia is quite good in that regard as well.
Speaking english is no problem, speaking german is though, lol, I think i forgot all the german i learned in high shcool right after leaving it. My english accent is horrible though...

One thing, if a lot (and it seems to be that way) vendors and manufacturers of HP or in general audio equipment show up, plus quite a few EU headfiers, then we should consider renaming the thread title to get (even) more attention and give the whole thing the proper title

Please be aware that for the meet being organised now, in this thread, that is not the case!
That will be a separate meet organised by me. Thisn will happen only april/may time frame.

Rgds Hans

Yeah, there are two meets. One being the 'pre-meet' and the other being the 'real deal meet'. The latter will be hosted by Hans (Hoosterw, Qables). I'm sure Hans will think it all out.

Hahaha, I thought you mass-pm'ed a lot of head-fi'ers!
I have no idea if I'll be able to make it, or even have enough equipment to make it even remotely interesting for me to show up, but I'll try my best

Hey Sam, I hope you still enjoy the akgs.....
I think this thread should focus on the pre-party and maybe hans should start a new thread when this is all over, to avoid any confusion...

Thread Starter
Sorry guys and gals, haven't been around much this week to check the thread. My laptop decided to kill itself so I had to get me something new which I did today.

Sooooo, we really should set a date. It's a shame we can't find which suits us all.
I hate to say something like this; but how about we simply let the poll run for another couple of days till for example wednesday, and then simply go with the date that has the most votes?
Rik, I think you should step up and choose a date. If you think we should let the poll run till Wednesday. Fine. You as a host (right? ) make the plans. Oh, the responsibility.

Please keep in mind that the 11th has one vote that isn't listed (from me).

CanJam 2009 just have its date set for May 29-31. Perhaps Saturday May 30th. would be a nice date?
Just a wild idea, but worth mentioning..
