A2's + Computer + NAD CD reciever = ???

I already have a NAD CD reciever + tuner (NAD L40). I want to hook it up to my computer with audioengine a2's im going to be getting. I was curious if this would all work.

So i guess my question is 1. would the nad reciever hook up to my computer?
and 2. would my audioengine a2's hook up to the nad reciever?

Thanks

EDITED: would it be better to get a different pair of speakers to go with the nad receiver and my computer? i'm not really sure on anything speaker related. i just thought the a2's were the best for the money so i thought i would buy those.

also, how would i go about connecting everything? what plugs would i need etc.

I would just run a set of RCA's from your sound card (or DAC if you're using one) to the AUX IN on the NAD, and then use RCAs from the PRE OUT to the Audioengines. That's. of course, assuming that you want to use the NAD as your volume control. If for some reason you want to bypass the NAD, then use the TAPE OUT.

Since you already have an amplification source with the NAD, though, you would probably get more bang for your buck by opting for some passive monitors rather than something active like the A2s. Perhaps something along the lines of the Aperion 4B, Energy RC-Mini, or even Dynaudio BM5.

thanks for the help.

that sounds good to me. I'll try it out when i get the speakers. Also, thanks for the recommendations on the speakers. All of this helps a lot.
Edit: Should i opt to grab a subwoofer with the speakers? Sorry if this is a noobie question, i'm really lost on all this speaker stuff.

Im liking the 4b. most people use them in a surround sound setup. would they still be great in a 2.0 format? i would amp thru the receiver
