Hi-end portable! Ultrasone EDITION 8 revealed - Page 9

I wish I knew you guys were joking about the ruthenium. I just watched the movie Idiocracy last night and I have a very vivid imagination of what would happen if I told you guys that Ultrasone Edition 9's have ruthenium.

That sentence you guys posted and misunderstood a gazillion times says "compounds" of ruthenium stain the skin. Here's some advice: lay off the skin lotion you use which probably contains a dozen more toxic metals and solvents and there won't be any chemical reaction with the ruthenium for the brief amount of time it takes to move the headphone on and off your head. But the safest material would be plastic ^^ unless you are melting it on your skin it won't ever be absorbed.

I haven't been able to figure out why yet but there's something about the appearance of these Edition 8's that reminds me of the Ford Edsel.

wow, 1500 dollars? thats even more than hd-800's. a while back i thought UE-11's were insanely expensive and i wouldnt own them for another 30 years. but now, the hd800 and edition 8 makes the ue-11's more reasonable to get.
