Ety e6i or real used e4p.

It helps on the e6i if your DAP has a "bass boost" or EQ. They are a little bass shy. http://www.amazon.com/Etymotic-Resea...6358476&sr=8-1

I don't actually know this from experience but I did recently stay at a Holiday Inn Express.

I'll second the ER 6i, it is an IEM not a headphone but it is standing right next to unbeatable (the er 4p) in terms of isolation.

The ER 6i with the three-flanged tips. And for $80(in that link). Can't do much better than that for under $100.

HD280?

AKG K81DJ? Currently cheap on Amazon, so better deal than K414P, I reckon.

Stop recommending bass anemic phones like ER6i or HD280 to him, they are certainly terrible hip hop phones. The K81 gets a vote from me.
