I'm going to assume that it will be held at the Holiday Inn in Skokie, IL. This is where it has been held the previous two years with quite a bit of success.

Is there an admissions fee? What do you guys do at these meets? I've browsed through some of the threads and saw a few pictures of people listening to cans, do we have to bring equipment or can we come empty handed? I only have an Ipod Touch 1st Gen and a lowly little Grado SR60i.

You would love a meet. basically, people bring whatever gear they want, and you allow others to check it out. its a great place to meet other local enthusiasts. my first two meets, I didnt bring anything. just my ipod. since then, I have a little more gear. I encourage you to check out a meet. they are a lot of fun, and you learn a lot about what you like. oh, and no admission fee. But we usually get some kind of food. so if you want to throw in a couple bucks for a bag o chips, its appreciated.
