All the players I keep seeing are lower capacity. 2,4,8,16, GB. If one has a large flac library, it sure is going to to tak a larger capacity. Any experience with this anyone?

If you are willing to put rockbox on a Gen 5.5 iPod then you can have an 80GB FLAC player.

Well, the Sansa Fuze and Cowon D2 both support SD cards. It's probably just a matter of time before they both support 32GB cards, which might make the players pretty interesting for you.

You might be able to find a 60GB Cowon X5.

I ordered an ONDA VX777 4GB

It will accept the 32GB Micro Sd cards with 4GB built in. it plays flac files.

Cards seem a little pricey. Maybe someone knows good source price-wise.

Thanks as always for all the suggestions.

Get a cowon j3 32 gb and add a 32 sdhc card to it. 64 GB

Should be even better player than S9, which is awesome already.

the ultimate solution for large capacity is Rockboxed ipod 5.5 gen with 240GB HDD...

I hear ipodzens makes 240gb iPods... Perhaps Rockbox would work with those? (Does not work with the 80gb slim Samsung HDD)

you should buy a 240gb ipod classic with rockbox, NOT AN IMOD

imod is not officially supported and it may not work.
So you should go with a 240gb ipod > LOD > portable headphone amp (you can pay as low as 65$ for a fiio e11)

Where did you see that? Can they replace with a SSD?
