...an uF is an uF is an uF (oof oof oof??? µF µF?? mif mif??)

I just get µF'd when I see spec-y #s.

Well, maybe if I can get there I'll hear something nice.

They used to make emoticons by hand, you know.~(:-))

huuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuh there's a head-fi meet a-comin'? man i almost missed the boat! i actually have a sprained foot (running for the train last week) but i still might limp over there if the perfect storm happens -

1)the wife says yes to babysittin' duties
2)the sister in law says yes to borrowing the car (walk/commute might be a bit much in my condition)

as soon as i know the answer to both i'll report back! guess i'll just bring my macbook with duet and a hornet with some cans, something transportable...

k! i'd probably want to drive separate anyhoo since i might have to bolt in a moment's notice (wife red alert). by the way, the PC we cobble together for the Tower of Power II is on its last legs, but it was about time for it to croak anyhow, right? s'okay, this macbook is pulling the heavy duty anyhow these days.

oh, and who's this deeleewebb guy that's creeping up on my post count? i checked his recent activity and it's all spam postage, lol!

on the other hand, i'm one to talk - half my recent posts are about guitars - looks like i'm paving the way to abdicating the throne anyhoo!

So now all of a sudden Jahn and Romanee post in this thread? Where have you guys been? We've been talking about this meet for months. It was "The Year the Fall New York Head-Fi Meet Almost Wasn't." But Rudoloph convinced Santa that the children still liked playing with their audio toys so the meet was saved. We could have used your guidance when planning the date and venue or at least your opinions. Oh wait, opinions are like...

It would be great if you guys could attend. You know, they throw parades in Harrison for less.

I'm relatively new to Head-Fi and am looking for a pair of headphones. I don't have anything to bring but would like to come to see and try what's available and hear what I've been missing. Is anyone bringing an Apogee miniDAC?

Damn I just got an email from my professor about pushing our final presentations for a class this SAT!!! Looks Like I'm gonna be held up until 1 or so. I know the mini faq says doors are open from 11-5, do you guys know if most people hang around until 5? At this rate, we may not get there until 2:30 in the afternoon.

Not only did saturday classes kill my weekends this semester, it just ruined a perfectly nice weekend I was looking forward to for the past month.

Most people won't leave unless you make them. There will still be people there at 2:30. I guarantee it.

I lug 100 pounds of equipment and travel 100 miles only to stay for an hour and then leave, gotta beat the traffic.
