I was saying we should call off the meet if it's only 7 hours. Of course I was just joking.

Still not a bad idea. At 5:00 we end the auction and everyone starts packing it up.

markl just PMed me asking if he could send us a pair of his Denon MD5000-DE. These are the Denon AH-D5000 headphones with the full markl mods and recabled with the Jena Labs wire.

If you're not familiar with what markl has been up to check out Lawton Audio.

Received my Sony PVR-F1's last week. I think you guys are in for a treat. They are a likely substititute for the now defunct K1000's. I will have a 100 hours on them before the meet.

Also, sending out my Koss ESP 950's to Alex to be Stax terminated so the will be in attendance to compare with the Jades. Although they are are considered portable because the detach and come with their own amp, I've heard that they hold their own worth a Stax based amp and can't wait to hear them at their full potential.

So I will be bringing my G08 as a source, feeding into a Luxman P-1 as a preamp amp, along with 3 headphone outputs, including the Sony's and the 007t feeding the Koss ESP 950's. I will have Siltech G4 (thanks Yikes) gold IC's and Cardas Golden reference IC's.

Preemo stuff.

Hey Yikes, in the "Gear List" I noticed that you will be bringing the world's most expensive headphone amplifier.

Is it a Burmeister modded with Siltech wiring?

yaay for bozebuttons!

May I make a request for someone (tom or someone else) to bring the Ultrasone ED9 to the meet? I liked them quite well with the 708B tube amp at the mini-meet, but have made many changes to the amp since then. Im curious if I screwed it up.
