I think the theme for the Silent Auction should be

Band Aid - Do They Know It's Christmas

The no snow in Africa tour

Bring all of your cheesy Christmas albums to share with all your friends and make money for Head-Fi, too!

it'd be a bummer if you couldn't make it. mebbe if you explained to your profs that you have an important family commitment on that day they'd let you take the exam a day sooner .

You can add Stefan AudioArt to the list of vendors. I've asked jserdechny to post in this thread.

We may also have Uncle Wilson but that's not confirmed yet.

Please Note - Map Slightly Incorrect

Please note that the map that immtbiker posted on the first page is slightly off. It shows that the address is on the southeast side of West Street but it's on the other side. So it's between Thatcher and West.

Spoke to Kohn from AudioCubes today.

Excellent. Also, I believe the NYC store is having a party tomorrow night.

I am almost 100% positive I am coming to the meet...I have question if we are bringing some equipment how will it work in terms of where it goes and how we set it up
post #116 of 312
I have arranged to have a prototype of amb's latest DIY design, the y1 DAC at the meet. It can be added to my gear list, will mostly likely be fed by my macbook but it can take optical and coax digital as well and I may loan it out during the meet.

For anyone interested there's a thread in the DIY forum discussing its development. It's a pretty feature laden little bugger and only the size of a mini3. Speaking of which, that'll probably be what it's hooked up to during the meet when it's at my table.

You bring your equipment...you setup your equipment. No rules no regulations. If you want to borrow someone's stuff or CD's just ask.

Check out the "Meets Impressions" threads for the last couple of meets around the US and view the setup pics.
