+1 for excellent Klipsch customer service!
The local Klipsch service center/distro fixed the issue I had with the left channel dropping out on the Custom 3's. But after a week, the rubber sleeve that covers the L-plug that covers the 3.5mm jack started to come off on its own accord.
I went back to the store where I bought them, and said that I would rather prefer they replace my unit with a new one. 4 days later, the store called me up saying that my new unit (courtesy of the distro) was ready to be picked up. When I picked it up earlier today, they did indeed replace my Custom 3's with a brand new unit!
While I'm still on the fence about the durability of the Custom 3's (I will handle them very very carefully now), it's great customer service like this that will at least make me consider other Klipsch products in the future.
