Really quite interesting, I never really expected something like this to actually work out as well as it did.
Would be nice to have a pair to hear for myself.

-edit-
not as "innovative" as I thought, I guess =\

They look interesting.

There were a couple "bone conduction" headphones on AudioCubes. They appeared to be more standard over the head style, versus the behind the head style band of these.

I remember when the original Bone Fone came out. I tried to convince my father to order one. While the concept is interesting, if it was really that good I would think it would be more popular by now since it has been around so long.

Interesting!
Quite skeptic about the sound quality though.

so, how do these "bone fone" parts actually sound? (I know theres others than this one, from a number of japanese manufacturers)

I would assume that to someone who can ONLY hear noises via this type of thing, that they would sound great! If I went deaf in one of teh ways that this would work for me, the first thin I would do would be to buy at least one pair of bone conduction headphones...

Has anyone heard anything like this? I want to try some out, but they are out of the pricerange for random experimentation.
