I am aware that the Cowon D2 and the iAudio 7 have the ability to pan left/right. Are there any other players that have this function?

It's how loud the stereo signal is in each channel. If I pan left, the sound in the right channel will decrease, and the left will sound more pronounced. At a basic level, it is how loud one side of the headphone compares to the other.

My hearing is noticeably unbalanced and the degree of this unbalance varies from day to day. Thus, with my Cowon iAudio 7, I usually pan to the right +1 or 2 to make the stereo (or mono) image sound centered. It's fairly annoying otherwise.
