Thanks for the impressions soozieq. As i expected you like them too. After all this positive reviews from you way more experienced headfiers i don't think i need any more proof that these are my next iem. They look cool, have removable cables, sound great and have dynamic driver with bass tuning. That's all i need............until next upgraditis arrives

Thanks a lot for the pics! It's always good to see a real pic of the earphones.

If you can do it, please post a pic of the IEM in your ears. I want to see how "big" they are and how they look when you wear it.

Those are the foam tips that are included. They're a bit harder than the Shure Olives, but they are by no means uncomfortable. They're very interesting, being as comfortable as they are while being the harder durometer. They are very good tips. If you notice, they are smoother than even the Olives. You don't have to compress them at all, which makes for very quick placement.

soozieq: In terms of the IE8, are we talking complete pwnage of the SA6?

If you had to rate the SA6, IE7, and IE8 in terms of value alone, how would they all stack up?
I'm guessing IE8 will ranked on par with TF10P or maybe even higher. Guess i will wait for her verdict.

But still make a purchase on TF10P haha

How would you rate the IE8 in terms of comfort compared to X10? The X10 are so comfortable and light that i can sleep with these earphones! Also, what do you consider are the strengths of the X10 over the IE8, if any?

Thanks!

Hey schneller and toughnut - I'll give you both an answer some time this evening. I plan to spend most of today with all 3 sets listening to the same stuff I listened to yesterday. I'm curious myself, especially about how the IE8 compare with the Trips!! I've always said I'd never get rid of them unless something with a similar sound came along in a smaller package. Unfortunately, my second listening session with the IE8 ended after an hour because of the pressure on the inside of my ears

I might try and attach the memory hooks to see if helps move the edge away slightly. Pity, since I just couldn't feel the IE7 in my ears at all.

Julie, thanks for the nice impressions. You have come owning more than a few interesting pairs of headphones that I have never tried, and I would like to. The IE8 are on top of this list.
