I am literally sitting here at work, waiting for FedEx to arrive... the wait is now killing me!!!! I suppose it won't happen until after lunch today. Between getting the IE8's, and the jovial start to the day with the election being over, I'm most likely not going to get much work done today.

LOL I hope your boss doesn't pay much attention to you
![]() I've seen on your signature you already have the Klipsch X10. I'd be thankful if you could comment about how do they compare to the IE8 when you try them. I'm specially interested in their "tonality" and timbral accuracy. |

Ha ha... the boss is no worry. LOL! I will definitely write up some comments/comparisons with the Images. I'll tell you that right now, the Image X10's are very nice, and have a sense of naturalness that I hope the IE8's match or exceed. I wasn't really planning on upgrading just for the sake of upgrading, but when reading the comments about the IE8, as well as soozieq's impressions of the 7's.... well, I just couldn't help but try them.

I will do some major listening this evening at home, and burn in with pink noise overnight.
Stay tuned.............. |
I'm very curious about the comparison with the Image, since I think the IE7 is only a small step up from them. If the IE8 is a HUGE step up... then I just have to buy them. The Image made my ears itch like crazy

Hey you! Are you listening to them right now??? I just know you're playing with them!! Tell the truth

You're right, how'd you guess? You made me stop listening for a minute to answer this!! Ha ha!
As for the comparisons, I will definitely include an in-depth comparison with the X10's. As for the TF10's it'll only be based on my memory of them, so it may not be quite as accurate of a description... so everyone will have to bear that in mind. I do want to spend a bit of time getting more familiar with them, and be sure I'm posting the right things. |
