The HotUSB1 functions like a two channel/stereo external sound card, but it also amps better than a sound card. Better quality sound for the money. It is connected to the PC by USB, and then headphones connect to the HotUSB1. You can read more about it at hotaudio.com. I use mine with my headphones, and I use my PC speakers with my sound card. I switch between the two through the "control panel" in Windows XP.

I'll seriously consider the HotUSB1.

I'm a little afraid of buying stuff online from another country like that (actually, my dad is afraid, the international credit card is his, and he'll be paying most of it actually), but this does look like a real bargain, and Dave seems to be a very honest guy (I've just sent him an e-mail asking some stuff, and got an almost immediate reply, and a very kind one).

I just might need to wait for a while, to get the money for it.
But hopefully not that much.

Yeah cool well the Audigy SE is much better than onboard from what I heard. It just not as clean as Xonar and the Creative X Fi fata1ty.

BTW I also pay vat and import duty in Trinidad here. The Xonar costed me about $650 TTD after shipment and duty with vat etc.

The sennheiser HD 555 costed me $1000 TTD thats about $189 USD which initially costed $100 US on Amazon.

BTW you ever considered migrating to Florida?
Its Latina Land there. I tell you man you should see it Colombians and every other latino you can dream of.

But to the point there you just buy a xonar for $77 on Amazon and u get free shipment and thats it. No Tax no duty no nothing.

All those shots taken in Brazil?

Did not know Brazil was so nice. I always assumed it was just jungle like how you see it in the American movies and stuff. Never knew Brazil was so developed and nice.

Don't really want to live in the US. If I ever get to live in some other country, I guess I would prefer somewhere in Europe (nothing personal, ok? ).

Jungle is to the north/northwest, the Amazon Jungle. But Brazil is filled with large cities, like São Paulo, Rio de Janeiro and Belo Horizonte. Actually São Paulo is almost as huge as NY as far as I know. Pollution, traffic problems and violence included.

EDIT: Oh and another very important thing I forgot to say: Brazil is NOT, I repeat IS NOT all about Samba and Carnaval. Carnaval is in February, and tourists love it, but most of the time we don't really mind these stuff, as american movies show...

So long as you're aware of what it does and does not do. Dave can fill you in on that.

This is why many use PayPal for such purchases. You can buy it on eBay through PayPal, and by doing so you and your dad should feel quite safe in doing so.

LOL good point well as far as I know you should stay far far away from Mid America, places like Utah and Nebraska and St Louis and those areas.

I was told they don't even allow colored people in those places. And they got redneck KKK members and stuff living in those places. But like if you go NY or Florida you should not have a problem. There is plenty racist places in the US but also plenty nice places.

Infact Florida is actually 60% Latin now and 30% white. 10% with other races.

But yeah you right Europe is pretty cool but I wanna do like my uncle he lives near South Beach in Florida and god damn I wish that was me.
Its the place where girls care more about their tan than their clothes. lol

Dude I went Miami once and you should see those Mall girls there man I could have dropped dead. Was like Shakira everywhere you turn man.

I'm aware it doesn't support EAX or any other fancy effects, and I don't care about these.
All I'm gonna want from it, is that I can use it with foobar2000 to listen to my music. Winamp might be used too. I might also use ASIO4All. If I can use it for playing some first person shooters it's gonna be nice too (I know, no effects).

Everything else is a bonus to me.

And afaik Europe is very xenophobic too...

Well I can guarantee you, here in Brazil we have EVERY type of people there is in the world, and we don't mind this at all (as a whole. of course, there's always some racist people everywhere).

We have japanese, chinese, germans (some cities to the south have a lot of germans), bolivians, portuguese, south-africans...

Yeah its true. South America quite mixed and nice people there to. Just look at Shakira she is feeding and schooling about 2000 kids in Colombia. She really is quite a Humanitarian I never seen a girl with a heart quite as pure as hers. You should see her foundation Pies Descalzos

YouTube - Video Colegio de shakira - Fundacion Pies descalzos

Thats the youtube link its like a huge school for children who lost their parents and family in Civil war. It should be completed maby next year. This proves that not everyone in Colombia makes drugs and sells to USA, as America would have everyone believe.
There are lots of good people in Latin America same way there is good and bad people everywhere in the world.

Offcourse BBC would have us believe something else. You ever notice BBC totally ignores negative stuff in their own country and even USA. Shakira had a song called Timor was about East Timour and how they were taken advantage of by the Americans and Europeans.

YouTube - Shakira - Timor

Check it its pretty cool. Its a fan made video though.
I always liked Shakira for that she speaks the truth no matter what and she don't business who vex.

LOL and you know we have some nasty racists out there who thinks of every possible way to try and bring her down. Some of them could never see a latin person or Asian person be on top.

I have seen it all to many times they try to make fun of Shakira english crossover cause she is Native Spanish speaker.

But hey you know what man, they can say what they want she is still the hottest woman on the planet and she can dance her @ss off.

besides she can sing both English and Spanish perfect cause I am native English speaker and I can tell you Shakira can sing English just as good as she does spanish. off course she sounds better in spanish. But anyways bottom line point I was making I could care less what the racist haters think about colored people.

At the end of the day Shakira is still the 2nd richest songstress in the world. But I have been to Florida and one thing for damn sure I can tell you its Latina Land for real. I tell you every Latina chick there is hot for days.

PS. Did you see on the news some rednecks was gonna Assassinate Barak Obama. FBI break up the plot but sadly the men won't doing any Jail time.

http://www.timesonline.co.uk/tol/new...cle4617490.ece

Reall sad man people still this racist in a day and age like this. Can't believe so many parts of America is still like this.
