Cable: I am selling the SAA Equinox HD650 I bought for my headphones as I am selling the HD650 as well. It has about 400 hours on it, and is in mint condition. It is the classic style version, 6 foot long, terminated with a Mini connector, and includes a SAA mini to 1/4" connector. Original owner.

Headphone: I am looking to sell my Sennheiser HD650 headphones for ... Comes with everything you'd get when buying new including original receipt, box, packaging, stock cable, and 1/4 to mini connector cable. I have performed the APureSound Mod on it, but still have the inner foam pads to include. The headphones have about 600 hours on them, no nicks or scratches, and the pads are still in great condition. I am the 2nd Owner, but I basically bought them new. Non-smoking homes in both cases.

My reason for selling is that I have realized a preference for K701s given my musical interest. Money will be recycled into new K702s and SAA K702 Equinox cable.

No Longer for sale

Price drop...

Also note that the cable works on the HD600 as well. It is a step up from the Equinox HD600 cable per SAA and uses the same connectors.

Common questions...
Quote:
What exactly is the A Pure Sound Mod and how does it affect sound quality on the HD650?
APursound makes the V3 cable for the HD650. Their mod can be seen at this link. The mod increases clarity by removing the pad between the ear and driver (reversible, i'll put the pads in before I ship if you like) as well as the pad behind the driver (non-reversible) to free up airflow and make the bass more responsive.

Did you perform any other kinds of mods on it that changes it from the stock components?
No other mods have been done on this headphone. The only difference from stock will be the lack of pad on the back of the driver.
