Is anyone familiar with this chip?

EL2001CN
It's used in the Stan Warren (Supermods) buffer board I got to make a buffered "passive" line stage. Stan says it can be used to drive headphones too. Does anybody know anything about it - any other products it's used in, or experience with it?
Thanks,
Pete

EL2001 is a superb buffer chip that was discussed here a lot. Do a search here or on headwize.

I thought It was doing fine as a headphone buffer, but wanted that all-important peer confirmation!
Thanks,

Yes old Stan and I agree on a great Buffer The EL-2001 and el-2002 are great. I have used Elantec parts for a long time and have found them one of the Best. Since Stan is in my neck of the Woods I wonder if Living in the so called Oregon Vortex has anything to do with it.He....He...?
