Apologies, but anecdotal based myths need to be addressed.

 

It's a cable maker's claim with no data to support it.

 

I have to admit guys, sorry but i knew when i posted that it would bait that guy to respond again I read this whole thread and have to admit it was a bit funny. In the end it's the persons ears that judge if there's a difference.

interesting... but even at 100% HO, wont the equalizer still be running and corrupting the pure music signal? iam sure that wont be present in the LO...

And does rockbox change the sound of the L/O signal, as it apparently does with the H/O signal?

Nope.

Ok i didn't like the Rockbox, i can't as easily flip through my radio stations, delete songs, see the text and it appears i can't use the LOD. It just has too many options and the stock EQ seemed easier to use as well as sounding better on the "normal" setting.

 

What i'm curious about is the crashes, does anyone else get the screen going grey on them? My cheap Samsung phone would glitch out as well so i'm pretty irritated. I miss the days where just trying to get album artwork to display correctly were the biggest problem.

Hey guys. I'm in the market for a Sansa Fuze and I wanted to know the following: have any of you owned a Sansa e260? If so, which sounds better?

Also have or do any of you own an LG Optimus s/c/v/t, and how does it sound in comparison to the Fuze?

Ill be listening to the sources with a pl30 and possibly a pair of Monster Turbines if things work out.

Mine will no longer charge!!! USB device not recognized on two computers! Anyone had this happen? Will order a new cable and hope that does it, might order a Nationite N2 for the heck of it.

Guys im assuming the fuze doesn't support 24 bit flac files.

 

I've got some diana krall 24bit-96KHz vinyl ripped into flac, and it sounds gorgeous but it's not happening.

 

Is installing rockbox worth it, seemed tricky to install last time i looked.

 

Just about manged it on my clip mind.

That wont happen because Fuze does not support 24bit-96khz because of the hardware...so even rockbox cannot help it....maybe u can convert it to 16bit-44.1khz Flac because that is what the Fuze does support.

I assumed as much, anyway got there in the end using avs audio conveter.

 

Shame mind as i can now tell the difference, it doesn't feel as real ah well new dap in the future.

 

 

U sure its not Placebo? and that its not the General difference between the SQ of your Computer's sound card and the DAP?

 

 

Nope both were listened to from the same source, my hifi speakers.

 

Ok im plugged into my ultrasones, lets see.
