can putting your music too loud ruin the headphones? - Page 2

i've told y'all this before i think. edc, this big rave last summer, 10 hours in front of about a gigawatt of power running speakers the size of my house. i couldn't year anything if you weren't yelling for about 2 days. didn't get normal hearing till about 5 days later.

i've gone deaf plenty of times. no fear baby. bodies heal.

i don't get tinnitus very badly though. mostly just i feel like i have cotton in my ears for a while after i put myself through hearing damage.

i still have pretty wicked good hearing.

get some v900s if you're worried. 3watts power handling baby.

Hearing damage may appear temporary but recovery is
not always complete.
Damage can and will accumulate until you finally notice
then it is too late .
So FEAR baby!
As at the present time such damage cannot be repaired.

But I am sure you know this already eh..

oh yeah, i forgot to add. don't listen to me. i've been extremely lucky with the dangers to which i expose myself. that and a lot of days i wear earplugs and try to surround myself with as much silence as possible. for the most part i listen to my music really quietly. that way i figure i save my ears for the times that count.
