I found that my ESW-9's had a lot more bass when they were brand new, and toned down a lot now with 400 hours on them.

I wonder if the 10's will do the same.

BTW- Moved to Portable Headphones forum, due to the title: "Limited, wooden portable ATH-ESW10JPN arrives! ...


...and the fact that they are made for the higher end portable market (besides the UE's, not much competition there)..

I revisited my ESW9's last night straight out of the headphone jack of my Sony D-25S. It was a truly enjoyable experience. Thanks to this thread.

Being one of weak will-power, after reading about these beautiful phones, I had no choice but to order a set via Pricejapan.

I also joined esw10jpn mania and just ordered a pair. I'm hoping these will match up nice with the D3 python which overall should make for a nice little laptop setup.

yah I hate you all too. Just ordered via Pricejapan I was looking for some nice portables to use at school with my pico and MBP and this looks like the ticket (heard so much about ESW9s but haven't tried them), unless of course people interrupt my music to ask where I got such sexy headphones.
