I didn't find anything regarding technical misinformation but did find why he stopped posting here due to a disagreement on enforced ad policy with Jude. I guess after not posting in six years there must still be a level of animosity/hurt feelings regarding Head-Fi.

Also ran across a post of his where he said he raised his prices to try to cut back on the # of orders. Lends some credence that it's more of a hobby than a business but it's hard to fathom why he bothers having a website to take orders if that's his thought process. Kind of like he wants the attention/adulation for his work but doesn't really want to deliver on it. Go figure.

itsborken, 6 years is a long time. Who knows the reason? As far as adulation and similar, well lets say I do not see it the same as you.

He doesn't feel the need the post here and doesn't read the pages. He felt there was some unjust treatment and moved on.

I take Xin at his word as to why he stopped posting here. It's pretty obvious. Some of the stuff I read in fixup.net support forum just makes me shake my head. How many posters write poetry to any other vendor? Xin where are you? every other day. C'mon, you don't think that's over the top?

its OK I will write him some so he can be my friend
with this feeble attempt I hope he doesn't get mad
the last thing I need is for him to turn into a fiend
I hope he gets a chuckle, and turns into a happy lad
