Very cool, i also found this cool action on DX, a cassette shaped dap that uses SD cards with an internal battery.

That's very nice, but I think you should consider trying an amp again:

Btw, which model OtterBOX is that, the 2000?

wow , that is really slim ! will look into that.

yeah , it is the otterbox 2000. Only the black version came with a layer of foam inside , so i thought it would be nice and safe to have that.

It looks like a Sony MZ-R3, but it isn't? Never seen one so closely resembling my old almost-portable thing.

MZ-R30. That replaced my WM-EX53. Even today they both work perfectly, I did find out the MD a few months back and I always had problems with the lid not locking properly. It was just the sliding bar with locked the opening mech was sticking, a little bit of grease and it works perfectly now!

Nice. Yeah, those things were built like a tank - no comparison to today's flimsy MP3 players.

Tell me about it, my one's been through the wars. lol

Did have to get a new battery for it though, but luckily energiser do them pretty cheap, around £10GBP I think.

@dfkt Yea, I think it's kind of the hipster side of audio in Japan. I bought the lego headphones for my younger sister, though I was tempted to keep them and giver her the face ones.
