The head-fi'er I got it from is from Norway, so I am guessing it is only available in Scandinavia. Google search seems to confirm this.

Gear mentioned in this thread:

Sennheiser IE 8 In-Ear Headphones
Sennheiser HD 580
Zune Premium Headphones v2

Bang for buck PortaPros are great phones, they were my 1st entry into better gear all those years ago.
Same here!
The Koss were my first upgrade to my first real walkman rig.
They were stunningly miles ahead of any of the buds or flimsy stock walkman headphones.

Crikey is it possible that was over 20 years ago already?

Have the Porta-pros been around that long??

I liked the idea of those watch remotes but it takes up the LOD socket and precludes the use of an amplifier.

I wish Apple would invent a stand alone or build one in so as to leave the LOD free.

^ New to all this with a Switchcraft LOD, UE Triple Fi's and Amp (can't tell what type). They are good quality choices for a newbie I'd say. Obviously, I'm sorry for your Wallet!

LOL, I learn from the best (headfier's) the amp is an ibasso t4, im happy with the sound. Im just trying to decide weather I want to keep the t4 paired with my 3g nano or if I want to pair it with my 5g ipod video, the 5g sounds a little better to me through the line out but the portability of the nano and the t4 is just awesome.

OMG let me know when you'll decide to get rid from the bloody-portapros!

Get an 8GB Sandisk Sansa Clip and then just strap the T4 to the 5G video. 8GB clips are only $49, and they sound fantastic.

I didn't adjust the light balance when I took that shot. Also, the Portapros is already on its way to someone else. Sorry!

Ah, so they DO work with the Touch. 1st gen? They're not that cheap here in NZ, but I've been tempted many times. Holy shazbot, it's US$150 here.

If youre talking about the timex, im using it on a 1st gen, dunno about 2nd. If youre talking about the nike+ alternative that doesnt require a dongle, its 2nd gen only.
