After years (!) of reading this thread I've decided to finally post my current rig. Pictured are my iPod 120GB, D3 Python, Zy Hi End LOD, & Yuin PK1.

dbE = soundmagic

i guess soundmagic is only in china and dbE is the name in southeast asia?

Looks like its gonna be a super sleek and sexy rig. Guess you just need a shiny LOD/interconnect.

Resistance is futile.

Yep, that's an X300 dual booting OS X 10.5.2 and XP SP3. I hardly use the Mac side because the sound drivers in the wild don't work, at least for me. I kinda wish I had got an easier Thinkpad to hackintosh(Like T series), but the sleekness of this thing is amazing, and I'm not ready to settle for the MBA's drawbacks. It's just a giant ass iPhone. I am considering trading towards the unibody macbook even though it has a lame glossy screen. There is a guy out there who claims he's gotten everything to work but hasn't made a write up for it. On the Windows side though, W7 looks super promising and I think I'll probably install it over XP.

maybe you should run your mac audio drivers 'in the wild' ....on a mac...

just a thought; if you want reliable performance out of OSX probably running it on a system that is natively supported would be a good idea

Of course the ones with video came out looking much better but I didn't want to post those here. Anyways dammit I made another change but I dont want to post another pic so soon. Im sure its better than someone quoting a pic over and over, but I'll wait a while. Spoiler alert! I paint the lid to the tin black so its sexier now! I want to do something about the LOD next. Probably make a low profile one if I can. Im thinking about giving it a try with some simple materials. Dang you know I'll probably take a picture right now and end up adding it to this post since I rambled so long.

BTW if it was about surface, thats a baby blanket that was around that I thought would make a better surface than anything else at the time.

@ yeahx, well I did mean the PFE but the pink did jump out...just a bit lol
I didn't want to mention the background...thought pink might be you favorite color j/k. My son has a new nano but I still haven't tried it. I wanted to buy the purple just because I love purple the nano looks pretty slick imo.

I like a white background best now looking back at just laying them on my couch or whatever is in front of me.

Post more pics. Post away!
