Rig XL, I mean "B" is sweet EFN. Lisa III & iRiver H-160 matchup really well, aesthetically pleasing IMO. Enjoy.

I personally think some of these rigs are overkill for portable, but thats me.

See my goal is to be the best possible sound with the smallest size.

My rig must fit in my pocket or the side of my purse.

Maybe you can say I have a deep purse? Really I don't - just spend money wisely and wait for upgrades.

Honestly, I have more money tied in the portable rig than I do the home one by far.

$1627 in the Portable Rig.

$857 in the Dynamic Rig.

soon to be $1357 in the Dynamic Rig.

No worries folks....my rig B is for couch listening at home only....My primary Rig A is the one that still follow me wherever I go....

Now, dare I show my Rig C?

I wonder what kind of looks I would get if I carried EFN's "rig B" to school.

Congrats!

so how are u powering them?

Right now I am leaving it connected to my Walkman on shuffle. Every now and then I listen to it.

Initially out of the box it sounded horrible. Soundstage was almost none-existent. The bass was muddy and harsh, gave me a headache listening to it. It cleared up after an hour or so of burning. Now it sounds more relaxed, the bass slightly tamer and tighter. And that is just a couple of hours after burning them in.

I can only wonder how they will sound like a week from now!

Audio chain:
PC / FLAC / Squeezecenter / Wireless Duet / Digital Coax / Musical Fidelity V-DAC / AudioArt Interconnects / Headroom Balanced Desktop Amp / AKG 701 balanced

All wirelessly controlled by iTouch and iPeng app

Now if I could only find a battery pack...
For some thats to stretch "portable" a bit, but certainly not for you.
Looking nice though!

My "portable" rig.
In the sense that its all battery operated and hence can be brought with me in a backpack (large one).
