FS: VPI Scout with many extras!(SOLD)

For sale is a VPI Scout in great conditions, conservatively rated at 7/10 (Audiogon scale, it is posted there too). I am the second owner and it has been well taken care of. No pets, smoking or children in the house. There have been a few upgrades.

1. 300 RPM motor, the original motor is included.
2. Wally Tractor alignment tool. These take time to get and are the best cartridge alignment tools out there.
3. Grado Gold Cartridge. Used but with minimal hours.
4. Phase switch. This was installed by the Chief Engineer for Audience Audio Mr. Roger Sheker. There is no change to the signal and it is a great help for those records that are out of phase.

There is the classic wear at the point where the tonearm rest clamp meets the arm. Otherwise I don’t see any other scratches. If there is any, they would be hard to find. It is ready to go in the original box weighing 38 lbs. I would prefer to ship this FedEx as UPS tends to damage everything. Buyer is responsible of insurance and actual shipping charges. bump. I have some interest on Audiogon but people want it for $1000. I would let it go to a head-fier for $1000.
