Corda 2move owners/ Help on settings?

I have just received a beautiful Corda 2move to go with an iPod and a pair of SA6's.

I understand that "gain" and "current consumption" can be changed from default "high" to "low", by modifying the internal parts of the amp. I don't know a thing about electronics, so any advice on how to *identify* the "zero ohms bridge(s)" I should remove in order to modify to "low" is greatly appreciated. How do they look? And how do I remove such a thing? Is it just pulled of with a pair of pliers or your fingers? Sorry if this is stupid questions, but I would hate to ruin my new lovely little amp.

Could you also comment on your experience with switching to either low gain and/or low current consumption, thanks?

I understand that the ultimate sound quality should come from high gain and high current consumption, as the amp is set to by default. But this leaves me with very little "room" on the volume control before the SA6's goes to loud, and if I can squeeze some 100 hours of battery time out of the 9 volt battery on low current consumption without a sound quality loss that I can hear, I would be happy to do so.

Thanks a lot for your help!

By the way, the 2move and SA6 combination is beautiful to my ears, making the SA6 even better than unamped

Thanks for your encouragement!

I re-read the instructions carefully and took the dive. For the information of others that may be unfamiliar and in doubt: the so called "bridges" are black, square'ish in size and rather flat. You can lift them up easily with a pair of tweezers. If you look carefully for the different row of pins described in the manual, they are not hard to locate.

I do enjoy to have a bit more room on the volume pot now, and don't know if I can tell that sound quality is different low current mode. At least the battery should last up til 100 hours
