I bought these headphones just for the fun of it, to see how they sound with all that apparently amazing bass.
Well, for $50, they're ok sounding for extra bass headphones. They do have a...
Bought it some time ago, based on user reviews. Straight out of the box it seemed huge, especially compared to my old Cowon D2. Also, sound was awful. Granted, I don't have large hi-fi cans, only...

I’m a basshead. I say that loudly and proudly, even though some folks believe basshead and audiophile are mutually exclusive. Obviously, I’m not in that camp. But sometimes, I...
I read reviews on this and I said let me try this out, for $10 I couldn't lose. This surpassed all of expectations for a $10 IEM.
I am going to purchase a set for my wife, she was also blown...
Hey all, Well after doing some more reading onhead-fi regarding ibasso ir ead there will be a d10 soon. Wonder if that will be their top amp+dac?
Greetings, Anouk,
As far as I see both have a USB-in, a line-in and a line-out. Let's say we connect iBasso to PC via USB. Then, we connect some speakers to it via its line-out. How does it "detect" that we connected speakers but not headphone? and that it will use its DAC only, not DAC+AMP? I mean, what's the difference in procedure than 2Move?

If you want to use the DAC only and bypass the amp you plug whatever you are using (separate amp, amped speakers, etc.) into the input jack. The DAC is completely powered by usb so the amp can be turned off.
can anybody compare the 2 in terms of amp sound quality and the dac sound quality?
which one will be better?
I had an opportunity to listen to the 2Move in two distinct ocassions. The second time I had it in my possession for several days. It is a nice sounding amp but one that did not agree w/ me.
I find the D3 to be clearer, w/ more detail and better extension both in the bass and highs. I would choose the D3. Plus it is smaller, and it has a line out feature.
Is it just me or does anyone else find it extremely annoying that it requires 5 AAA batteries for a D3 when most chargers can only charge 4 AAAs at a time?
Chargers usually come in 4, 6 and 8 configurations.
Go to your neighborhood RatShack and you will find the answers to all the questions of the universe.
So, man up, buy the D3 , an appropriate charger and stop complaining

thanks for the info,
did you compare the dac quality of the 2 amps?
i will be using the dac often as it will be hooked up to my laptop and my headphone.

I don't think you will be disappointed.
I am looking now and I may or may not love you for showing me the light.
I got a nice charger (I have about 8 good ones) from Thomas Distributing that will condition, charge at whatever mA's you set, discharge and cycle your batteries. It has a nice large screen so you can see what is going on with each battery and if you do a full discharge and charge it tells you how many mA's the battery will actually hold. It will charge 1, 2, 3 or 4 batteries at a time. It will also recondition batteries that seem no good which my other chargers, which are supposed to be able to do, will not. You can even cycle a battery from discharge to charge for whatever number you set, which takes many hours but it really, really conditions a battery. It is not cheap but very well worth the investment. The brand is Powerex.
