Retro-Styling USB Monica DAC

Thread Starter
Some weeks ago I received an (enhanced) USB Monica board from Yeo, diyparadise.com.
After collecting some material like plugs, switch, cable (cmc silver RCAs, Neutrik USB plug/adapter, mini xlr plug and socket, switch) and a small case (with electronics no one needs anymore) I got the time to built the DAC.
Because the case is (new but) recycled and the plates are coated with a sample of ABET laminati from Italy (famous 80s Memphis design) - it is a retro style NOS DAC.

Have fun with it.

[Now it has to burn in. I think the black gate caps will need some time.]

That is ******** BEAUTIFUL! I'd love to be able to re-case my Monica 2 into something like that (right now it's in an Altoids tin).

Any pics of the guts?

The case I got on ebay.
It is a small one appr. 165*150*50mm. Big enough for the board.
Originally it was an equalizer for a specific speaker set.
I had to customize the front and back panel, used laminate for this (acryl-glass or wood would be fine, too).
Unfortunately my machine park is limited (or does not exist).
If anyone is interested I can post when it appears once more.
