The Super fi 5s are looking very attractive as I can get them for 89 GBP compared to 150 GBP for the Sleek SA6. Is that huge 69% extra worth it?

Its very surprising to see the new 5s are better than the 5 Pro as the 5 Pro has both the armature and driver

Sleeks are definitely not worth 150GBP, considering their MSRP was slashed this week to $209, and you can get them from soundearphones.com for $180. Even if you factor in VAT (I assume you live in europe), that would be considerably less than 150GBP. But 89GBP is pretty good value for the SF5's... where did you find them for that price?

Im in the UK and unfortunately, 150GBP is the cheapest I could find and I was aware of the price cut in the USA.

The SF5's are 89GBP from: Ultimate Ears Super.Fi 5 Earphones £88.99 - Free P&P There are quite a few other places at this price too.

However, I gto an email from eBay offering 10% off my next purchase meaning I can have the SF5s for 83GBP and they are from official UE retailers. I'm not sure the Sleeks are worth that extra huge amount.

Just doesnt sound right that the new SF5s are better than the pros.... Several websites suggest the Pros are better: http://reviews.digitaltrends.com/rev...er-fi-5-review http://reviews.digitaltrends.com/rev...i-5-pro-review

Is there anything else that should be considered at this price point? Any portable headphones or other IEMs?

So can we conclude, the Sleek SA6 are not worth an extra 81% over the SF5's?

The SF5 Pro's have more bass, are larger and have replacable wires whereas the SF5's have a better soundstage and are more detailed.

Both have a 2 year warranty, should the cable wear in the SF5's, would it be replaced under warranty?

Chances are it would, yes.

Denon AH-C751: 84GBP
SF5 Pro: 109GBP
Shure SE310: 110GBP

Sleek SA6: 150GBP
