Hi, all. I have trouble getting a signal from X-Fi Xtrememusic to a modded Zhaolu with a Blue Jeans mini(digital jack of X-Fi) to RCA(Zhaolu DAC). When I connect it, there's no signal present until I put weight or pressure on the interconnector like pressing it down.
Recently a friend said it could be a cable grounding problem because when you touch the connector it gets signal (also when you hold certain parts of the metal enclosure with bare hands, and if you hold a piece of metal to the connector).
Right now, I have a 1/4" cable touching the outside of the RCA metal part and to a screw that is on the enclosure, held on by tape.
Anyone have any idea whats going on here? and ways to fix it
