NOTE: The clamping factor will obviously differ from person to person, but I'm surprised to find little mention of it, as it is the sole reason I'd never think twice about...
When I listened to the sound for the 1st time, I was hit by it. I was punched by the not-punchy-bass. I was hoping it would offer much better bass response than SE315.. equals to Klipsch Image...

HiFiMAN HE400
By now I think most of us are familiar with the history behind the HiFiMAN HE-series headphones. What started with a single model has grown into a full...
I was in Japan and was looking at headphones to buy. I had a cheap budget of about 4000 yen or circa $40. I bought this headphone because it was on sale for $30 and was very good looking. It was...
I only heard it for a day and then sent back for the refit.
First impression is quite good, sounds similar to my trustworthy ER4p. The treble is a little bit overpowered and bass is not prominent. I burnt in it for about 10 hours and it did improve a lot. The treble harshness decreased pretty much. Maybe my ears have "felt" the phones.

It was mentioned in an earlier post that the Hearyourself drivers and the Westone drivers come from the same company. I read in the NuForce thread that you have Westone-3's. Taking into consideration that Westones are universal can you please give us a quick comparison.? If they are similar, perhaps others can audition the Westones and get a Idea what the
C-3's may sound like for them.
I've just received the notification shipment of my C1000. Exactly 1 week after I send it back to him. Considering this occurs during the Thanksgiving, the turn-around time is impressive.
And I didn't send any email to ask him about my C1000
wow, a month is a tremendously long time. Did you try to call him?
Not yet. If they're not here by the 5th of December (which will be a full month since they got my impressions) then I'm just going to cancel my order, get my money back from paypal, and go to another company. I have no problem waiting, but seeing other people get a much faster turnaround just doesn't seem right.
If I were you, I would do that too. I'm not really good at waiting but luckily, I've been busy with my desktop setup and somehow I forgot about my C1000. Waiting always makes time become longer.
If you happen to go with other company, think carefully when you choose Livewires or else this will happen with you again

Wow. Your refit was done?!!?!? My impression have not even reach the lab.
Yes. It was done. Exactly 1 week.
He told me that my order was put a priority status and I don't think he lied me
It should be here really soon, can't wait to meet it again I'll try it with the RSA P51 this time to see how it scales.
