wow. I'm quite amazed right now. Andre has emailed me with a price quotation for me to change the colour of my shells. $90 bucks!!! their moulds are nothing like the UM remolds and the "custom text engraving" was partly rubbed off by the 2nd month. I'm going to send them in to get the face plate fixed. not going to spend anymore money on AE.

So the lab has had my impressions for 5 business days. I emailed Andre this morning for a status update and haven't gotten an email back yet. Not a big deal, from reading all the posts here I know he doesn't answer the email promptly and the best way to contact him is to call.

Now I wonder, what gets priority at the fisher hearing lab? their remold service or alien ears. Probably equal, which means it will be about 10 business days for the lab to create my monitors. (Yeah I read through the fisher hearing remold thread too)

EDIT: I got a response back on monday and Andre said he is going to try and get the status for me soon. Well it's almost the end of the work week so either he forgot to check or since it's almost 10 business days since the lab recieved my impressions than maybe they are done or almost done.

Can anybody tell me where I can buy a custom cable for my C3'S?
No more than 70$.

Nice one! If I am correct, this is four wire braided SPOFC in telfon, which is perfect for reterminating to balanced. I did so with a mini 4 pin XLR and have several balanced and single ended adapters

I thought the lune cable cable was pure silver not silver plated copper? Will be very sad if I'm wrong is it not the enyo series that is spofc?

Lune is pure silver. Enyo is copper with silver solderings.

So Many choices now that Customs are so popular. Ray Samuels has a new balanced portable amp that uses an ALO cryo cable originaly made for the JH13's but it can be used with the HY/Aliens ears Customs as well as Westone, and UE.

Hearing my C-3's Balanced was a nice sound but I think I'd upgrade to the JH's if I were going to try a balanced portable amp, Ray's "Protector" amp is not priced as of yet but I'd guess somewhere in the 500-600.00 range, another 200 for the ALO cable and 1200.00 for the JH16's so it's not a journey for the faint of wallet.
