Hearyourself.com custom IEM discussion thread - Page 12

I just bought mine! I am excited, because I have been looking at customs since the beginning of summer. Triple driver for about $250!!! Sorry FreQ, this deal was just too good to pass up. I also got a Westone cord for $1.25 +5 S&H on ebay.

Anyways, here is a link that might be more clear on what to do... 35% cash back from eBay purchase using Microsoft Live Search *No selling!* - SlickDeals.net Forums It says you get 35% off but it is really only 30%. It is pretty simple though, search for what you want on Live Search and look for the ebay cash back sponsor link. Click on it, and it will give you related search results. Then look for the alien/hearyourself.com listings.

I bought now, because I don't want to miss the cash back nor for the price to go up.

i tried a few times and live just failed to search for hearyourself ebay listing. their searching algorithm just failed, no wonder they doing this cashback stuff to increase their search hit.

zachkarl, u got yourself a very good deal. usd250 for custom is just too good to resist.

I promise it still works and is worth it.

How To:
1. Manually navigate to the live website
2. Search for "custom in ear monitor"
3. Look for the an ad on the top or or right side of the page like the attachment below shows
4. Scroll through the long eBay listing and look for the hearyourself or aliens
5. Once you find the model you want, click on it
6. Click "But It Now"
7. Look at the verification page to ensure you get the cash back. You will be able to verify that the cash back is correct before you commit to buy.
8. Proceed like usual.

I just bought the C3's using the above directions and got 30% off.
I will get 109.00 cashback so the C3's will only cost me 256.00.

Just talked to Andre (of HearYourself) and he didn't even know about the cashback :-) It is Microsoft money after all.

A great deal and this is what got me off the fence.

wow that is so great, now that I'm thinking about it I wouldn't have been able to do it anyway because I Got a custom logo and had my own impressions so he had to send me a custom paypal invoice

Hey Gang,

I just ordered the AE1's for my son Danny. I hope my wife dosn't freak when I go to do his impressions. I'll try to pick a time when she's at the library.

I took a cue from you, Gatto, and ordered translucent Purple with black faceplates and cords. I"ll make some Star Wars artwork decals on my computer for his faceplates. Or just glue a couple of his Commander Cody or Capt. Rex action figure heads to them.

This live.com cashback business has never ever worked for me. I've concluded it must be exclusive to USA peeps.

Back on topic, has anyone gotten their triple drivers yet? I'd love to read some impressions.

Keep trying, sometimes it works sometimes it doesn't, but saving 30% is worth the hassle :-)

It seems to work on everything every time for me.
it jumped up from $77($110 before live) to $119($170 before live). That's REALLY lame. He doesn't even have the $125 option on ebay so you cant take advantage of live.

He should have brought this up when I was asking him questions yesterday. Now that the price has gone up a little more, I might as well wait it out for the Superfreqs to return and get a triple driver for just not that much more.

my C2s should be at my house in between 2 and 4 weeks, I can also rush it for $25 but I don't know if it's worth it.
