Andre said he will terminate mine at 18", but there will be no 10 day trial. I get paid tomorrow and I'm placing my order for a AE1 in translucent black with an 18" black cable.

How long did it take you guys to get yours finished from the time you paid?

Yah, the dollar seems to be back on the rise and, for you aussies out there, it's probably not gonna get significantly better over the next couple of months. The US economy problems are taking their toll on energy and resources prices and, with those being our two biggest exports, there's not much confidence in our dollar these days which is why it's just falling and falling and falling. Lame.

Anyway, I'm gonna order the AE2s today, I think, I really want the triple drivers but I think, realistically, it's just too expensive now to go any higher than the duals

In other news, I'm getting my impressions done tonight so I will send them off on Monday (well, prolly saturday but they wont get posted till Monday) so I dunno how long it'll take to get the monitors after that, one of their feedback things on ebay says international customers can wait up to 10 weeks!!

i already paid for my c3.
damn i missed my appointment with my audiologist today.
Get it before it get more and more expensive.
Usd is still climbing.....

I got my c-3s back in six days from when the impressions arrived at the lab.

Has anyone tried the C1s? I'm coming from some Mylarone X3s(and previously ER4Ps) which I was very happy with. The only thing was my cord snapped and when I tried to solder it back on I broke one of the ears.

Right now I'm using EP360s and I'm really not that happy with them. They were just some lying around the house that I decided to use. The music sounds soo dull. It sounds like i'm in a venue's lobby whereas the x3s sounded like I was center stage in comparisson. Any input would be great. I figure at the low cost, I really have nothing to complain about.

BTW, live cashback is available on these. $77 for some AE1s

Yee-hah, now I'm psyched...I just pulled the trigger on the C3's. The price just jumped from $350 up to $365, but live search cashback just went back up to 30% off instead of the 20% it's been at the past few days.

Now I just have to find an audiologist to do my impressions & put together some artwork. Do you think my "dancin' Calvin & Hobbes" is too detailed or elaborate to be put onto the faceplate?

What's all this talk about cash back from eBay and how do I get it? I decided on a pair of AE2s, I got my impressions done last night, I'll post pictures later and I'm planning to send them off first thing Monday morning.

Just a suggestion, why dont u split them up, one for each side?

i'm so envy u guys can have custom. i stay far aways from US.
the ebay cash back thing is for America only i think.
yes, only for US residents, 18yo and above. but 30% off deal is too good to resist, even at this kind of economic meltdown haha

Anyone have all 3 Alien Customs? I'm wondering if the single driver would be only a little bit lousier than the dual or the triple driver. Because, in the audio world, we pay a lot to upgrade sound that is a little better than the cheaper ones. I don't mind getting the single drived alien custom if they are only a little lousier in sound...
All of their prices were just raised by $15.
so how do you get the live discount?
I am about to buy the C3's with the 30% discount. Go to ebay and find the listing you want. The go to live.com and search for the same title. Look on the top or the right for and ebay 30% cashback ad off of "In ear monitors" or something like that. It will take you to a page of listings and find the one you want. Click Buy Now, and it should verify that you have the cash back on the verification page.
