I'm getting a pair of Grado SR60's. Would my iPod audio negatively affect the sound quality I get out of the Grado's?

even then the sr60s functions efficiently enough just straightout of the ipod.

Not really. Grado's are great when paired with portable sources.

From experience, the Grado SR60s sound great out of an iPod.

The SR60s sound pretty decent from any DAP, IMO.

x2 on sr60's can sound decent on any dap.

The Grado sound is the great your ears and jaw from the clamping pain, may prove to be another story.

Anacondastan, you can bend the grado headband. It has an steel band under the plastic/leather. Good luck.
