A5 + what sub?

Okay, I'm looking to get a sub woofer for my A5 speakers. I live in a dorm so I don't need anything too big, but I don't want to get anything underwhelming in case the next room it goes in is bigger. I'm looking to spend $300 to $350 dollars. I know this isn't going to get me an "audiophile" sound based on the price, but I'm fine with that. I was looking at the Velodyne DPS-10 which I can get for $340 shipped. I'd be using it for rock and hip-hop, and occasionally movies. Thoughts or better options for the price? And would the sub come with the correct interconnects to hook up to my speakers?

This is my first venture into subs, so any help would help out quite a bit. Thanks.

i don't think you'll need a sub

my A2 are pretty bass heavy and loud enough for my dorm

I've had the A5s for a few months now. I feel the need for a sub

Does anyone know whether all I need to buy is the sub, and it'll be able to hook right up to the speakers and work fine?

Look at HSU and SVS for great subs in your budget.
