Ok, I'll go.
Fantasy: Something like this.
Fantasy that could become reality:
I don't really care bout looks or comfort, I just wanna drive.
As a supplement to my earlier post, I've been looking hard at a Pembleton (www.pembleton.co.uk) three-wheeler. The kit is reasonable even with shipping to the US and I'd power it with a Moto Guzzi engine. I think I could pull one off for $10k or less. I've got the money and - finally - a place to put one together. I might have to drop an order later this year.
They're pretty quick with the Moto Guzzi and still turn in decent mileage because they're so light. I might be roaming the deserts in one of these soon enough.
Edit: A few pics:
Can they be made street-legal UE?
I already have my "Dream Car". Since I dream of cars every day I have a couple of them (Dream cars). Fortunately I hate Lambos and Porsche, don't care too much for Ferrari...and other so-called exotics (pieces of trash that brake down every time you drive them).
Here goes, bought but still not driven: Dodge Viper SRT10 ACR "Final Edition" numbered coupe.
- Reason for buying: Favorite car ever...Investment (even though I'd rather dye then sell this masterpiece).
Next in line: Corvette ZR-1. The one that is coming out in Carbon Fiber, not the tupperware ones they are currently selling. Probably send it to Lingerfelder, get the full racing specs, the twin turbo and the ~1300 bhp (waiting for package to start selling)...current package "only" displaces ~710 bhp...
*Sorry don't know how to post pics:((( Keeps saying something about my browser's configuration ??? (go figure)
Of the cars you guys have picked I fully agree with:
*Pagani Zonda - Probably my favorite "exotic" (I don't buy exotics thou)...
*McLaren F1 - If there ever was a masterpiece in engineering... (unobtainable, unless you are willing to fork out more then 2 million pounds at an auction)...
*Koenigsegg - Swedish, who would have guessed ?
