Swan m200...worth $150?

Hi there people!

I've been reading for a long time, and finally decided to put up some posts ^^

Well, I was looking to buy a good 2.0/2.1 system for my computer/MBP, since my old speakers went "kaboom".

I currently use a Auzentech Prelude as a soundcard, using AD700 as my headphones.

After reading some more...I figured I'd spend some....little money(compared to most of you ) into my speakers and decided to find either Swan m200 or Audioengine A2 for cheap.

I did find a swan m200 for around $100ish, but the seller was @ Canada, and the shipping was about $50....

So! is Swan M200 worth $150? or should I look elsewhere?

Thanks!

I paid $200 for my M200mkIIs and have found them to be worth every penny. I don't think there are any systems, especially at $150, that would be considered as good from a value or convenience standpoint.

I think the Swans are a steal at that price. They're very good sounding, unless you are the sort of person who basically needs a subwoofer no matter what.

Be warned they're rather large. In super approximate terms, think 1 CD wide x 2 CDs deep by 3 CDs high. I love mine, but wish they were smaller.
